Frome Friends of Palestine’s Mick Randall successfully finished his task of living for one week on less than £2 a day to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestine.
The challenge has so far reached £404 from donors. He would like to reach £500 and the site is still open (see Frome Times 30th Sept). In these times of spreading Covic-19, he says the Palestinian health service needs all the money we can send them. The main point he learnt from the challenge was that on such a target it is impossible to eat out and that all food and drink needs to be prepared at home. He has provided a daily blog of his experience which can be seen on mickrandallsdiaryaddress@blogspot.com.
