Seven local musical acts are set to play at One Planet Sunday at the Cheese and Grain on the 11th October. The line up includes acoustic sets from Ellen Porteous, Sara Vian, Tom Veck, Three Corners, Bob Hillary, Joanna Harvey, Paul John Leonard and Bea and Dave Clark.
Co-organiser Annabelle Macfadyen said, ‘We’re thrilled that so many local musicians, groups, artists and businesses are coming to this year’s event. We’ve even got a vintage photo booth where you can make a pledge for a One Planet future. And there’s lots of free kids activities too, from forest school activities to story telling to song writing.
“At midday there’s a free tool sharpening session, and architects will be on hand to answer any questions. There will also be free juicing sessions and swap shop and bike repair so do join us.”
The event will be opened at 11.00am by Frome Mayor Kate Beilby, and offers over 30 stalls, workshops and talks until 4pm.
