Residents at Critchill Court say they are delighted to have received a generous donation of £450 to their amenities fund.
This donation came from local firm, Permaframe Ltd, who sponsored the staff at the Frome care home to undertake an abseil challenge in March.
The donation of £450 from Permaframe Ltd is being used to arrange a trip to Bristol Zoo for the Critchill Court residents. Any leftover funds will be put towards a trip to Bishops Palace in June.
The donation was organised by Richard Smith, Permaframe director and the son-in-law of a resident at the care home.
Manager of Critchill Court, Karen Reeves said, “We are incredibly grateful to everyone that has donated to our residents’ amenities fund. Thanks to Permaframe’s generosity, we have planned an exciting and memorable day out for our residents at Bristol Zoo.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the support from the local Frome community and we would like to offer our sincere thanks to you all.”
Richard Smith, director of Permaframe Ltd said, “My wife, Alison, whose mother lives at Critchill, has said many times how impressed she is with the extra care provided by the staff at the home. She has helped on a few trips and was taken by the fact that the staff run these trips in their own time, funded by events held during the year. This donation was an appreciation of their effort and care.”
