LOCAL charities and non-profit organisations in Frome and the surrounding area are being encouraged to apply to the Frome Community Lottery Trust grants before the closing date of 28th March. Typical grant amounts range between £200 and £2,000.
Lorna Lewis, the chair of the trust says, “If you would like to help people in your local community, playing the Frome Community Lottery means that you can support a number of local charities and organisations each year and also have a chance of winning a cash prize. A huge thank you to all our lottery players!”
The Frome Community Lottery Trust was founded in the year 2000. With funds of over £130,000 raised by Lottery players, the trust has provided grants to a huge number of groups and supported a wide range of projects, both small and large.
