THE Goodwill Cafe will host a Mad March Tea Party for local charity We Hear You on Wednesday 23rd March and everyone is invited.
Cllr Stina Falle runs the Goodwill Cafe from her home in Frome once a week. Stina said, “When I started the cafe in September, I wanted to provide a venue and open space for people in the community to be able to come and meet me to have a chat. I wanted a space for people to be able to come together.
“On this occasion we will host a special fundraiser for We Hear You. They do a great job, so I’m delighted to be able to support them.
“All people need to do is bring themselves. We will provide lovely tea and tasty cakes and we will just ask for a donation towards the charity. As it’s part of Mad March, it would be great if everyone wore a crazy hat!
“I am also an artist and would like to raise money for the charity separately, so if anyone would like a portrait done by myself of a family member or your favourite pet, or even yourself, you can speak to me about the details at the tea party. From each portrait, I will be donating 20% to We Hear You.
“I do hope everyone comes along to the tea party, it will be a lovely afternoon.”
The Goodwill Cafe is situated at 26 High Street, Frome, near The Sun Inn. The Goodwill Cafe is open every Wednesday from 3-5pm. The Mad March Tea Party will run from 3-6pm on Wednesday 23rd March.
