LOCAL cancer counselling charity, We Hear You (WHY), is once again benefitting from Goodwills Legal Services’ charity Will Month scheme.
When customers mention WHY on booking any of its services, Goodwills will make a donation to the charity. Throughout June, the full cost of a standard single will (£98) and couple’s mirror wills (£88 per person) will go to We Hear You.
WHY’s fundraising and communications manager Gemma Wilkes explains, “Making a will is a job that many of us put off, yet it’s so incredibly important. We’re delighted to have the support of a trusted local firm like Goodwills, and to have benefitted from their extremely generous support over the years. This has amounted to many thousands of pounds, all at no cost to the customer.”
Michael Rhodes, Goodwills senior consultant for Somerset, Bath, Wiltshire and the neighbouring areas, said, “I have long been a supporter of We Hear You and the vital service they offer to local people. We’re pleased to be able to help such an important local charity as we provide the peace of mind and protection of a professionally drawn up Will, Trust or Lasting Power of Attorney.
“We provide a helpful and professional home visit, telephone or video call service for Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, funeral plans and other services. In all cases we will make a generous donation to WHY.”
