A unique opportunity to meet with artist, Fiona Hingston, will take place at Black Swan Arts in Frome during the penultimate week of her solo exhibition ‘The English Woman’s Flora’ (until Sunday 6th October).
The exhibition, which explores Britain’s vanishing wildflowers, was inspired by The Observer’s Book of Wild Flowers and includes more than 200 flowers made from masking tape, wire and graphite. Fiona will be on hand in the Long Gallery on Thursday 26th September from 11am to 3pm to demonstrate the making process behind her work and to answer questions about her inspiration and creative practice.
Black Swan Arts say, “Don’t miss this wonderful chance to meet with Fiona in person and gain a deeper insight into her work.
