A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the impact of cuts to local services will be discussed by the Mendip Trade Union Councils (TUP) on Tuesday 27th November from 7.30pm.
An open public meeting has been called at the Assembly Rooms, Memorial Theatre by the Mendip TUC to discuss Somerset County Council’s plan to make £14million worth of cuts to local services.
The group will be joined by confirmed participants, Bob Ashworth from Fair Frome, Kris Black from UNISON, Nigel Behan from UNITE, Tim Northover from GMB, Dave Clarke of the Labour Party, Adam Boyden of the Liberal Democrats and John Clarke of the Green Party.
The public is invited to attend and let them know how the cuts will affect you.
