Are you a budding playwright bursting to put your ideas on the stage? If so, the Merlin Theatre want to hear from you!
The theatre is accepting submissions for their third original playwriting competition. The winning plays will receive a fully rehearsed script-in-hand public performance. There will be prizes for two categories: under 25 and over 25.
Conditions: • Maximum 15 minutes long; • 2 – 4 characters • Entries must be submitted by Sunday 1st December to Merlin Theatre, Bath Road, Frome, Ba11 2HG c/o Claudia Pepler. • Hard copies only; email submissions not accepted • Please include a cover sheet with name of show, category, playwright’s name and email address.
