AN open audition for the parts in a musical adaption of A Christmas Carol will be taking place at the Merlin Theatre on Sunday 6th July at 9.00am.
Claudia Pepler will be directing once again after taking a two-year break, and is very excited about this winter’s production.
Claudia said, “There are so many fantastic main parts, wonderful cameos, and a very big, busy chorus compromising of actors, singers, dancers and children.
“We are using the Piers Chater Robinson and Chris Blackwood version; the same author who wrote our award-winning version of Peter Pan. I like their adaptations as they keep true to the original text, mixed in with delightful, catchy songs.”
The audition will take the form of a workshop with everything being taught on the day. Rehearsals begin the first week of September.
