MORE stars are due to take to the stage at the Cheese and Grain over the coming year.
Widely-known actor, comedian and historian, Tony Robinson, will present an intimate evening; the legendary band, Happy Mondays, grace the stage to perform their well known hits; and British award-winning rock band, The Coral, have been announced as the headline act for this year’s Frome Festival.
This follows the news in the last two issue of the Frome Times that a plethora of stars from the comedy and music world will appear in multiple venues across Frome.
They join Jack Dee, Alan Carr, Jason Donovan, Ben Elton, The Osmonds, Martin Kemp, The Levellers and Ruby Wax by entering their names into the Frome guestbook.
Tony Robinson will present ‘An Evening with Sir Tony Robinson’ on Sunday 9th June at The Cheese and Grain.
The show will be in two halves, with Tony performing in the first part and regaling some of his enthralling exploits in the second, along with a question and answer session.
The Cheese & Grain says, “This will be an incredibly rare opportunity to see this captivating performer and national treasure live on stage.”
