THE Multicultural Frome Festival has set a date for its return this year – Sunday 10th of October at the Cheese & Grain.
And organisers are promising an event that is “bigger and better” than before, with a festival packed full of performances, stalls, music and food.
Organisers Azeema Caffoor and Lenka Grimes say, “We are really looking forward to our very special Multicultural Frome Festival in 2021. We have another great line up of performances including dance, music singing, crafts and food from all around the globe.
“We have had such wonderful feedback about the festival and the way in which it brings people from all backgrounds and races together in a harmonious and celebratory way. It is lovely to see how children enjoy learning about different cultures and traditions and revel in the food, music, communal dancing and singing.
“Our last event in 2019 at the Cheese and Grain was attended by over 800 people, with over 30 stalls from different countries.
“There is no room for racism in Frome and the 2021 event will be bigger and better and will help to keep Frome a welcoming and inclusive community that recognises the positive contribution made by new communities.”
