Tuesday 3rd Feb – Frome Stars vs Bath 1
The Frome Stars began their warm-up, anticipating a tough game ahead against a youthful Bath squad and by the end of the first quarter, we were 6 all.
Bath pulled away in the second quarter, as we struggled to get our shots in, part heads going down, part just one of those days!! A tactical change in defence and bringing Chloe into GA at half-time allowed us to have a bit of a reset and we finished the third quarter one goal up.
Huge pressure going into the final quarter and my goodness, did everyone give all that they had left in them. As the final whistle blew most of us had no idea who had won! But Frome scrapped victory with a final score of 32-31 to Frome.
Another tremendous display of true grit and determination by the Frome Stars.

Tuesday 27th January – Frome Stars vs Holt Blue
A delayed start but Frome came out with a bang, dominating the first quarter with an eight-goal lead.
The squad settled into a nice flow, with defence working beautifully as a unit from the centre pass, forcing overhead balls that could be intercepted.
The energy from Holt certainly increased in the second quarter but Frome reached half-time with a 17-goal lead.
Third quarter saw more of the same, attack working the ball down court, popping into the shooting circle for Nat and Liv to work their magic. Working against some tall defence, they had their work cut out to regain possession on a rebound but they fought for every ball and it made all the difference!
Heading into the final quarter saw Chloe come on court as WA, fresh legs and fresh energy allowed Frome to continue to pull away with the final score coming in at 50-20.
