Notorious South West promotions outfit, Gorilla Tactics, make their Cheese & Grain debut on the Friday before Christmas (22nd December), with a festive knees-up for all ages. Ska, reggae, funk and good times guaranteed.
Headlining the night is the Neville Staple Band, fronted by the original rudeboy and former frontman of the iconic and defining ska band – The Specials. Expect to hear some of Neville’s own material, some arrangements of his very favourite old school Ska numbers, as well as some classic hits in the mix!
Also on the bill are new school underground heroes ‘Ed Solo & Darrison’, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their legendary ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ album. Expect such feel-good hits as ‘Love Your Life’, ‘We Play The Music’, ‘Life Gets Better’, alongside a variety of music from both artists back catalogue to keep you moving.
Hosts & DJ support, Gorilla Tactics, are fresh off their summer festival tour, with stages/performances at Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Shindig Weekender and Balter, alongside their Bristol and Bath monthly collaborations and residencies. Expect a mix of funk, sleaze and party jams.
