FDC Law has announced the appointment of Emma Williams as the head of their private client department.
Emma, who has over 20 years’ experience working in the legal industry, joined FDC Law in 2018 working as a private client and residential conveyancing solicitor.
Emma’s expertise in both property and private client (wills, probate etc.), makes her the logical choice if someone’s estate includes a house or land. Using a single solicitor to help with the estate administration and conveyancing can often make the process a lot smoother at what can often be a difficult time.
Emma obtained her law degree as a mature student at Bristol University. Whilst at university, Emma was the student director of the University of Bristol’s law clinic, an organisation offering pro bono legal advice to members of the public.
“We are delighted that Emma has accepted the role of head of department,” said Jonathan Wood (managing partner). “In her time at FDC Law, Emma has shown that she is a highly competent lawyer and is popular with both colleagues and clients. We are looking forward to supporting her in expanding the department as we move into the New Year.”
Emma is based in our Midsomer Norton office but can also offer home visits for clients in the Frome area who have difficulties travelling to Midsomer Norton. If you would like any assistance with probate, wills or lasting powers of attorney, please contact Emma on 01761 417575 or 01761 409438 or by email to ewilliams@fdc-law.co.uk. Emma can also be found on Twitter: @EWilliams75.
