New petrol filling station, Budgens, Subway and Costa for Frome’s Commerce Park

A new petrol filling station is to be built at Commerce Park, Frome, as the region’s premier business development continues to expand. The site will include a Budgens supermarket, and Subway food and Costa coffee outlets.

This follows the sale of a 1.25-acre plot of industrial development land through property consultancy Myddelton & Major.

Quoting price for the roadside frontage Plot A6 – acquired by Poole-based filling station developer and operator Forelle Estates Ltd – was £400,000 per acre.

Forelle has already obtained planning consent for the filling station, including retail and food premises and car and jetwash facilities, on the site adjacent to Southgate.

The site, which will operate 24 hours a day, will have Shell fuel and include a Budgens supermarket, Subway food outlet and Costa Coffee.

Private investment company Forelle holds a substantial portfolio of commercial properties in the central southern region.
