The nation’s favourite contemporary choir, Rock Choir is coming to Frome and is inviting local people to come for a free taster session.
The choir leader, who also runs sessions in Trowbridge, Westbury and Warminster, is excited to be bringing Rock Choir to Frome and says, “I am so looking forward to meeting all the new members and teaching them some really great songs!
“Rock Choir’s ethos is very much about local people singing in their communities and supporting local causes so it will fit right in in Frome.”
The first session will be on Tuesday 20th September from 8pm to 9.30pm, and sessions will then be held at the same time every Tuesday at the Cheese & Grain.
Rock Choir is the UK’s largest contemporary choir, with more than 23,000 members in over 320 communities.
There are no auditions and no requirements to read music or have any previous singing experience. Rock Choir members get together each week to attend fun, friendly rehearsals where they are taught specially arranged pop and rock songs. There are lots of exciting performances throughout the year and many of them help raise money for charity.
