FROME Inner Wheel president Yvonne Covill welcomed the District 20 chairman, Janet Fulford, to their monthly meeting at the Frome Assembly Rooms on Tuesday 9th January.
The Frome Inner Wheel says, “After a delicious buffet supper, Janet spoke to the members and gave them an indication of what is going to happen during her year in office; a charity walk will take place in Cornwall, which she hopes that the clubs in Devon and Cornwall will also like to take part.
“We were also reminded that Wednesday January 10th was World Inner Wheel Day, and all the members were asked to display a lit candle in their windows to celebrate the day. Yvonne thanked Janet for coming and also reminded members that the ‘Soup and Puds’ event to raise funds for the International Committee projects will take place on Saturday 17th February at Chapmanslade Village Hall from 12pm to 2pm; everyone is welcome.”
