THE Nunney and District Flower Show is back for 2016 and is bigger and better than ever!
This year, in order to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Nunney First School, the whole event will take place on Saturday 3rd September within the school grounds and will feature a special exhibit of the children’s work.
If you would like to enter an exhibit at the show, please register at Nunney Village Hall on the 31st of August between 6-8pm. The flower show schedule and entry forms are available from various locations including: Nunney village shop, Barters Plant Center in Chapmanslade and the Library in Frome.
On the day of the show all entries must be brought in and staged between 7:30-9:30am. Judging will commence at 10am prompt. Sadly no entries can be admitted once judging has started.
Organisers are also asking if people would like to dress in Victorian costume to add to the ambiance of the celebrations this of course will be optional.
The show will be opened this year by Mrs Angela Yeoman at 2:15pm and trophies will be presented at 4:15pm.
Admission is free and the Flower Show Committee is looking forward to welcoming you to the show.
