A FROME nursery has scooped first place in their category at the Nursery World Awards hosted in London.
Tall Trees Kindergarten bagged the joint number one spot in the Enabling Environments category at the prestigious awards ceremony. They won the category because of the kindergarten’s outside learning area.
Emma Comer, from Tall Trees Kindergarten said, “It is wonderful news! We won the award because our outside learning area, or Nature School, is based on sound academic research proven to increase a child’s education. Our Nature School focuses on play, but play that is centered around the curriculum.
“Hundreds of nurseries nationally applied to be considered for the awards. Tall Trees was one of an eventual shortlist of eight nurseries, in the category.”
The awards took place at The Lancaster London on Friday 28th of September.
