The Ofsted inspector’s report makes very satisfying reading for all who are involved at Oakfield.
In his verbal feedback at the time, the lead inspector commented on the excellent behaviour of the pupils and asked the staff to thank them on his behalf for the way that they had co-operated with and welcomed the inspection team during their visit.
Pupils and parents should be proud of this and for all the efforts they are putting in to their time in school. The atmosphere and culture in the school that supports the pupils in their personal development and learning is acknowledged as a strength of Oakfield and is the ideal foundation for the good progress that all pupils are making during their time at school.
This has been achieved by the hard work and the commitment of the staff in their pursuit of the ongoing improvement in the educational outcomes of all students. The report recognises these efforts.
Tim Cutting, Chair of the Governing Board at Oakfield Academy said, “I would like to thank the staff on behalf of our community for the energy and the dedication they have brought to their work with our children.
“All at Oakfield are determined that the improvements made over the two years since our last inspection will be continued and built upon to achieve our vision of providing an outstanding educational experience for the young people of our community.”
