AN OAKFIELD Academy pupil was recently awarded a Blue Peter badge for her environmental research.
Carys McLoughlin, aged 10, was awarded a Green Blue Peter Badge for a project she completed on bees.
The school’s Dawn Warren said, “Well done again to Carys. This environmental award recognises the knowledge that Carys has gained on the insects and the shelters that she has helped her mum create in their garden.
