SIX coach loads of very excited children from Oakfield Academy visited Bath University recently to take part in the ‘Bath taps into Science’ festival as part of National Science Week.
Two hours flew by as the children tried out various experiments including forensic science, light dividing after making their own tubes to separate it, hoverchair, handling large African land snails and millipedes, dissecting pigs eyes, making hooters and magic tricks.
All the children were engrossed in the activities and came home enthused about what they had seen and done.
