A huge audience crowded into Oakfield Academy’s Hall after school on Friday 1st March to support lunchtime supervisors, Sue Webb and Connie Warder, with their charity head shaves in aid of Dorothy House and Macmillan Cancer Support.
The academy reports, “The ladies were overwhelmed with the encouragement of the crowd, which included close family members and friends.
“There is still time to support their causes https://bravetheshave.macmillan.org.uk/shavers/connie -warder and https://www. justgiving.com/fundraising/ suewebb64
“Both Connie and Sue would like to thank local hairdressers Eve from ‘Studio 7’ and Tamsin from ‘The Cutting Bar’ for giving up their time to perform the haircuts!”
