TRI-ART Theatre School has been able to release more places and widen the age group for their annual Summer School – the award-winning musical award-winning Oliver! Jr.
The workshop, culminating with two public performances at the Merlin Theatre will take place 9-21 August, has now been opened for ages 8-18 years old.
Merlin Theatre director Claudia Pepler explains, “Auditions will be held in advance at the Merlin Theatre on Sunday 18th July 9.30am, however if you have missed the audition, please contact me as there maybe still some parts up for grabs; there are some superb ensemble parts such as Fagin’s gang, and the workhouse children. The show features some of musical theatres best known songs such as ‘Consider yourself, Oom Pah Pah, As Long As He Needs Me, and Food Glorious Food’ to name but a few. Amy Morgan Bell and Claudia Pepler from Tri.art say they cannot wait to get back on stage with talented young people to produce live work once again. Performances are now on sale via the Merlin website.
