Enjoy a wonderful evening of outdoor frolics and open air theatre on Saturday 5th August at Manor Farm Corsley for their annual Elizabethan Evening.
Every year, Manor Farm opens its gates for theatre lovers to enjoy entertainment in the wonderful grounds of this historic Elizabethan manor, once refuge for Sir Walter Raleigh.
As well as the theatre, guests are invited to enjoy an optional pre-booked supper, where they will be waited on by serfs and wenches! And serenaded by a strolling player.
Following the company’s runaway successes with HMS Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance and Ruddigore, the nationally-acclaimed open air theatre company, Illyria, returns with Gilbert and Sullivan’s popular Mikado.
Gardens open at 5.30pm, sit down supper is served from 6-7pm and the performance starts at 7.30pm. Tea and coffee is sold in the interval and there is a licensed bar.
Tickets cost £14 for adults, £7 for children (5-16 years) and pre-booked suppers are £8 per person. Picnics are welcome and all proceeds are donated to local charitable causes. For tickets call 01373 832113 or email claire@manorfarmcorsley.com.
