ORCHARDLEIGH Golf Club is back open and things have been ‘absolutely crazy’.
“We’ve been rushed off our feet,” said the club golf pro, Dan Dredge. “The members have been over the moon to able to play again after six weeks of the lockdown.
“We opened yesterday and were fully booked from 8am to 6pm and we just didn’t stop. It’s the same today and we’re already fully booked for the next few days.
“Obviously we’ve put all the necessary measures in place to keep people safe following Government guidelines. You have to book in advance and only people with a booking are allowed at the club. Safety is our main concern and you can find out full details on our website.
“It’s great that we have been able to re-open and get people playing again. I think it’s given a lot of people a big boost. We’ve had loads of texts and emails from players saying how great it is to be back playing.”
