POLICE are appealing for help with an investigation after a car was set on fire in Frome.
The incident happened at about 2.15am on Tuesday 19th September in a car park in Naish Street. A householder heard a loud bang and ran outside to find the silver Ford Mondeo on fire.
By the time the fire service attended, the fire had spread to a second car, a red Suzuki Jimny. Fire crews extinguished the blaze, but both vehicles were burnt out.
Anyone who saw anyone behaving suspiciously around the vehicles, who was in the area at the time or who has any other information which could help the investigation is asked to get in touch through the police website, www.avonand somerset.police.uk/contact, or by calling 101, quoting reference 5217213780.
