AVON and Somerset Police is appealing for witnesses and information from the public following a robbery in Mells, near Frome.
A house was burgled and car keys were taken before the offenders then stole the home owner’s black Audi S3.
The incident occurred on Tuesday 22nd November at approximately 9.20pm.
A police spokesperson said, “We would like to speak to three men seen in the area prior to the robbery who may be able to help us with our enquiries.
“They were described as white and in their mid-twenties. Two of them were slightly taller than the third man and were wearing hooded jumpers. One was blond and was also wearing a red checked lumber-jack style shirt. The shorter man was quite stocky and had a full ginger/brown beard.
“Did you see them in the area during the day or the evening of the 22/11? Have you seen a black Audi S3, with a registration plate starting with H, parked anywhere unusual since the 22nd?
“If you have any information that might help us with our enquiries, no matter how insignificant you might feel it is, please call PC Jim Card on the 101 number and quote URN: 5216259937.
“Alternatively you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111. They never ask your name or trace your call.”
