A PREGNANCY and Early Years Fair will take place at the Hubnub Centre in Frome on Saturday 6th May.
Kirsty Doonan, fitness coach and post natal specialist, and organiser of the fair said, “Many mothers and those who are pregnant find it difficult to know where to turn for expert help and advice. Whether it be postnatal depression or those who simply want to explore the various baby and toddler groups available in the Frome area, the problems can be addressed here at the fair. There will be local practitioners and companies who can offer advice, free taster sessions and much more for infants and their mothers.
“The exhibition will showcase local businesses, activity groups and therapists who work in and around Frome. In addition, the NCT (National Child Trust) will be attending and PANDAs, a local group who offer support to anyone affected by pre and postnatal depression.”
The event starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4pm. Entrance will cost £1, with all proceeds going to the NCT for their breast feeding support group. There will be a bouncy castle, colouring competition, face painting and goody bags.
