The Frome & District Cribbage League presentation night took place at the Blue Boar on 20th March.
The League Winner’s cup was awarded to the Blue Boar B team (as photographed) with the Eagle of Coleford coming a close second. Prizes were also awarded to the Eagle for winning the Team Knockout and to the King’s Head of Coleford for winning the Fours tournament. The Crib Doubles Knockout was won by Steve Boorer and Phil Ham of the King’s Head and the Singles Knockout was awarded to Brian Clark from the South Parade Club.
Naomi Bates from the Frome & District Cribbage League says, “Thank you to the Blue Boar for hosting the presentation night and also thanks to Mark Mills and Roger for donating trophies that were awarded for the Fours, Doubles and Singles Knockout tournaments.
“Thank you for the continued support from everyone involved with the league. We would welcome new teams to participate in the league for the upcoming 2018/2019 season, from any local pubs and clubs within the Frome and surrounding villages. Having a crib team will encourage continued trade and help to sustain our local support networks in our pubs and clubs.
