A talk in Frome will raise awareness of the plight of people in Palestine.
Mohammad Tamimi, founder & director of Hebron International Resources Network (HIRN) will be speaking in Frome as part of his UK tour.
Organisers say, “Mohammad has worked with Palestinian communities facing the brunt of the Israeli occupation for more than 23 years.
“HIRN provides support to many of the most threatened and marginalized Palestinian communities in the West Bank, bringing the compassion, practical help and encouragement needed to remain resilient.”
Light refreshments available will be available and Zaytoun Fairtrade Palestinian products will be available to buy.
The talk will take place at Trinity Hall on Trinity Street in Frome from 7pm to 9pm on Saturday 26th April. Admission is by donation with all proceeds going to HIRN.
