ON Tuesday, 16th April Frome & District Probus Club held its Annual General Meeting when outgoing president Alan Fone handed over the ‘chain of office’ to Corsley farmer John Helliar.
In the past 12 months the club has welcomed several new members and has enjoyed a wide range of interesting topics from the monthly speakers. In addition to the monthly meeting at The Standerwick Centre, the membership can enjoy theatre visits, social gatherings, a monthly walking group and this year, a holiday on the Isle of Wight.
