MEMBERS at Frome Probus Club have reflected on a successful 2016 and are looking forward to another good year.
The club’s John Hedges said, “Frome Probus is far more than just a local group for retired professional and businessmen.
“Except for our monthly meetings, we are always joined by our wives, partners and friends for our various social events. In 2016 we had 12 walks, visits to an auction room, a motor museum and horse racing, lunches to celebrate the New Year and mid-summer, a barbecue, an afternoon of croquet, an evening of skittles and an autumn quiz.
“The club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the Standerwick Centre in Frome Market. The meetings consist of club business, coffee and tea, talks on a wide range of different topics and a two course lunch.
“Currently there is room for a few more members and any man who feels it may be of interest and may like to join, should contact Probus using the contact form on the website www.fromeprobus.co.uk”
