Frome Collegians have been promoted to the Wiltshire Senior Football League, having won the Mid-Somerset Premier Division.
The club will return to senior football status, after a three-season absence, with the club entering the Wiltshire Senior League for the first time in its history.
Karl Freeman, manager of Frome Collegians said, “When I joined the club in March 2017, the aim was always to get this club back playing senior football. It has taken a couple of seasons and I am delighted with what we have all achieved thus far. The club can now look forward to this fresh, exciting challenge with the Wiltshire Senior Football League”.
Club chairman Nigel Daymond said, ‘’I, on behalf of the committee, would like to congratulate Karl and wish them all the best for the new season.’’
Collegians, who play their football at The Old Showfield in Frome, commence pre-season training on Tuesday 9th July. Anyone interested in joining should contact the club.
