PUPILS from Selwood Academy have put some of their artwork proudly on display at Frome Community Hospital.
Head of the art department Liz Jordan said, “Late last year the art department worked with Frome Community Hospital staff to place two display boards in the hospital that will be permanent display areas for Selwood Academy art works.
“Zoe, Daisy, Oscar and Rhapsody were among the pupils whose work is currently on display and this week they walked to the hospital to see their work on site.
“We’re so pleased to have this link with the hospital – it’s lovely to make connections with the wider community and I’d love to think this relationship can develop further over the years.
“I’d also like to especially thank Cath Hirons, PA to the matron at the hospital for working so hard to arrange for the displays to be put into place.
“We intend to change the work regularly to promote and present the wide range of art craft and design produced by the pupils at Selwood Academy.”
Both displays are in public spaces in the hospital so can be viewed by the general public.
