Pupils from St Louis Catholic Primary School have been praised for their recent success after both their Year 3 and Year 4 teams managed to get to the final of the IG Sports Coaching Frome school’s football tournaments that were held at Selwood School.
The school says, “We had teams from Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 representing the school and the pupils demonstrated their excellent resilience and team work and leading to both Year 3 and Year 4 teams reaching the finals! After two very intense games, both ended up going to penalties with one team finishing as runners up, and the other team winning their penalty shoot-out and bringing back the trophy!
“Well done to all of the children who took part and a very special well done to Orson who played brilliantly in goal, winning his very own trophy for best save of the Year 3 and Year 4 tournament!”
