LOCAL schools, shops and organisations were keen to raise money for this year’s Children in Need fundraising, all helping to smash the annual record-raising total.
At Oakfield Academy, pupils took part in a mufti day and school prefects had a cake sale at break time. They also covered a giant Pudsey with donated coins, raising a total of £376.60.
Frome Asda and Hayesdown School joined forces to raise money for Children In Need. They had a mufti day and also a tombola and managed to raise £947.80. They would like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and took part in the activities.
