EVERYDAY Mindfulness in Frome is holding a workshop on Saturday 10th October, to raise money for refugees.
The workshop will be held at Pure Moves from 12pm-2pm and the theme is ‘Mindfulness for Common Humanity’.
Teacher at Everyday Mindfulness Eva Ruijgrok-Lupton said, “As we are confronted daily with distressing scenes of refugees seeking out safety from war and persecution, our hearts respond with a wish to help our fellow human beings in times of need.
“This workshop will help offer us some tools on how we can respond wisely and with compassion to difficulties in our lives and those of others. It is suited for people who are new to Mindfulness or already have some experience.
“Suggested donation is £15, but please pay as much as you feel you can afford. All proceeds will go to the British Red Cross Refugee Crisis Appeal.”
For bookings, please contact Eva Ruijgrok-Lupton on tel. 01373-464564 or be@everyday-mindfulness.com.
