Aspiring authors, avid readers and anyone else with a passion for books are invited to the Silk Mill from 10am on Saturday July 8th, for Frome Writers’ Collective’s annual Frome Small Publishers’ Fair (SPF).
The fair, which has become a staple of Frome Festival since it was first staged in 2016, brings together an eclectic mixture of publishers, printers and exhibitors offering advice and guidance on pre-publication, examples of book illustration and a wide range of books for sale.
SPF’s Peter Corbett said, “Budding and experienced writers will be able to discuss the way ahead for their work, to meet and talk to those businesses whose support they may need on the long road to publication. Frome Writers’ Collective’s own manuscript advice service, Silver Crow Books, will have a stand at the fair and members of the Silver Crow team will be on hand to talk about ways in which they can help.
“This is not just an opportunity for the many writers in our area to explore the options open to them, visiting readers will also be able to enjoy browsing the variety of books on offer.
“If you’ve been to a Fair in previous years, do come again – we’ve got a number of new exhibitors this year bringing a whole new feel to the event.”
