FOLLOWING another successful Ride Kids Ride event held at the Old Showfield in Frome on the 18th September, the lucky winner of the free raffle to win a new bike and helmet was presented with her prize at the local branch of Halfords.
At the event, children were invited to go along with friends and family to see how many laps around Frome’s Showfield they could achieve in 30-minutes, riding their bicycles, scooters and skateboards. For every lap completed, all participants received one ticket for the free raffle.
Poppy Latham completed 80 laps in 30 minutes and the deputy mayor of Frome, cllr Philip Campagna, drew her name as the winning ticket.
