Frome Rotary Club has donated complimentary toiletry packs to Marshfield Ward at Frome Community Hospital.
The donation is part of the club’s ‘Community Group’ initiative to support patient care and welfare at the hospital.
Margaret Gilmour, a former president of the Rotary Club, presented the packs to Marshfield Ward nurse Janet Pike. Janet said, “Many of our patients come to us from quite a distance and often without the toiletries they need. Their relatives can also be many miles away. These complimentary packs of shampoo, shower gel, and moisturiser will be very well received.”
Margaret Gilmour added, “We are pleased to support the team at Marshfield Ward as they provide excellent care to patients. Although small, these essential items make a big difference to their comfort and welfare.”
