The outgoing president of Frome Selwood Rotary Club has seen the work of several local charities first-hand as he presented cheques, on the club’s behalf, at the end of the 2018/19 year.
Hugh Deed presented cheques to Active and In Touch, Frome Re:Fresh, the Falcons Powerchair Football Team, Wessex Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, and Moving Memories.
Throughout the year, the Rotary Club has supported various charities and good causes with direct involvement or financial donations, both local and international, and assist them in raising funds for themselves, for example at the Frome Fireworks display.
