FROME Rugby Club is this month taking part in ‘Movember’ to help raise awareness about men’s health.
Members of the club have been sharing their thoughts on everything Movember and men’s mental health, in short videos posted across the club’s social media channels.
So far, the club has raised over £500 for Movember.
“The members of Frome RFC are already lucky in this world to have each other and a sport they love,” say the club. “With every type of man stepping foot on the pitch it comes as no surprise we see all different types of men’s health issues during our journeys together as a club. So for 2021 we are raising money as a team to ‘Help save a Bro’ we haven’t met yet.
“We’re raising funds and awareness this Movember for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives. We need your help. Please donate to support men’s health.”
Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world. The charity focuses on men’s mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
