FROME’S first Santa Dash took place last week at the Old Showfield with hundreds of runners dressed up as the big man in red to raise money for local charity We Hear You.
Participants young and old braved the sleet, snow and biting cold to tackle the 5km course. All runners were asked to try and raise £44, the cost of a counselling session at We Hear You.
The event, sponsored by Redrow Homes, was organised with the help of Frome Running Club.
