A popular Christmas fun run is returning in aid of Frome cancer counselling charity We Hear You this month.
The Santa Dash is due to be held on Sunday 14th December at the Frome Cricket Club. There’s no minimum age to take part, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The distance to run is approximately 4km.
Community Fundraiser at WHY, Robbie Newton, said, “The Santa Dash is one of our favourite events of the year; it’s fun, family-friendly, and makes a real difference to local people. Every step you take helps us provide essential support to those who need it most.”
“Big thanks to Frome Running Club and Frome Cricket Club for partnering with us again this year.”
Check-in and Santa suit collection starts from 9.30am, with the run starting at 11am.
Adults and youths: £10 (including Santa suit). Children under nine: £5 (suit not included; limited suits available to purchase on the day).
Robbie said, “The Santa Dash is a fantastic way to get active, spread festive joy, and raise vital funds for WHY’s free and low-cost counselling and emotional support services for people affected by cancer and life-threatening conditions.”
