FROME College welcomed Malcolm Westgate as a youth representative from Frome Selwood Rotary to introduce the InterAct Club to a number of their Year 9 and 10 students.
As part of the club, students are expected to run a fundraising event, and this event will take place on Monday 24th June at Frome College.
The college reports, “Details are yet to be finalised, but during the day we will be privileged to have two Elite GB athletes delivering assemblies and sessions to our students to help develop growth mind-set. Following this there will be a fun run and a fete, which will be open to the public to take part in.
“We are raising money to cover the cost of the athletes’ visit and to support charities in honour of Mrs Kirsopp-Lewis and Poppy Devey Waterhouse, as well as a project based in school to help support mental health.
“If you are a business or have any ideas of how you could support the InterAct Club on delivering a fantastic day whether it be donating raffle prizes, providing a facility, or having a stall on the day, please contact Liz Sypko via email at LSypko@Fromecollege.org
