EXCITEMENT is building at St John’s First School for the upcoming celebrations for the Queen’s Jubilee.
The school reports, “Everyone at St John’s is looking forward to their Jubilee Fair on May 27th. Children in the Maypole Squad are learning traditional dances to perform; the school choir are busy practising a number one from every decade of the Queen’s reign and everyone is bringing in a soft toy for the Teddy Tombola stall.
“Children are also designing fantastic ice cream recipes for judging by Café La Strada owner Jude Kelly, who will make up two winning recipes into real ice cream! Both winning creations will be on sale at the fair and at Café La Strada in town.”
