SELWOOD Academy is celebrating a double swoop as they picked up an award in the schools category at Frome In Bloom as well as being recognised with a wellbeing award for their approach to pupil and staff wellbeing.

Head teacher, Dan Jeffries, said, “I was delighted to present the awards on the evening as part of our fantastic community. I am so proud of our environment, which is beautiful and welcoming, and we are so lucky to experience.”
Selwood Academy received further good news this term as they have been recognised by the local authority and public health for their commitment and provision in promoting a whole setting approach to wellbeing for their pupils and staff.
Dan Jeffries added, “It is fantastic to be recognised for something that is at the forefront of our purpose as a school and has taken a great deal of effort from our staff and pupils.”
