Critchill School is the latest school to benefit from funding from the Community Council of Somerset.
Young People Frome worked with Kestrel class to raise awareness of diversity. The workshop focused on students sharing and talking about different countries and some of the special traditions and customs practised. The children then produced images that they felt would be welcoming to families from all over the globe for their school sign. These have been incorporated into a new school sign for Critchill which includes ‘Welcome’ in over 10 different languages and will be displayed outside the school entrance.
